Question for Spyderco Fans

I'm new to knife collecting, and I've been reading about the different types of steel used to manufacturer the blades.

Spyderco makes excellent blades. I own a Gerber Freeman. I love the large grip and the weight, but the Chinese made steel is of lower quality-- or so I've read.

I'd like to get a Spyderco for daily carry. Is there a model with a generous grip similar to the Freeman? Thanks!

Manix, PM2, GB2 or 1 if you can find one,
Stretch.

Check out the Tenacious.

I have a PM2 in M390. To me, the ultimate tool. Ultra stainless, ultra edge holding,
and superior slicing. Perfect for slicing tomatoes as well as rope...and it is light too.

I only have 3 PM2's. But I like the M390 best!

Any version of the Manix 2 is a winner, great design. If you can find a Gayle Bradley 1 its worth a look. The GB1 may be the best quality knife out there for the price. Good luck and let us know what you go with
