question for spyderco

I got a spyderco wrench.
When I use the screwdriver bits they are slipping out of the hole. There is a small set screw to set the tightness, but it wont turn in or out.
Is the screw set in with some appoxy or locktite ?
Or is there a secret I dont know about.
I messed up the notch in the set screw slightly and dont want to strip the notch so I stopped trying to turn the screw.
But I would like the bits to be a little bit tighter.
Any suggestions gang ?

Can't say too much without seeing the piece. You're not too far. If you send it in, we can probably fix it. Please be specific in your explanation to Amanda in Warrantee & Repair. Eric & I are the Rench people, so we'll more than likely end up checking it out.
