I have another Ergo question for those that know there Busse history. I just completed an Ergo set (well, partly en route). The BM and BA are logoed with a polished spine. The SH and NO are sterile and coated spine. I really like the polished spine and logoed look. However I have only seen this on the BA and BM. Does anyone know if there were ever any SH's or NO's released this way or were those all sterile? Thanks in advance for the help. :D

I have had both logo'd and sterile in all the e series knives... like the polished spines better myself

Ditto what Raden said. At one time or another they have all been made with/without logo's and with/without coated spines.

Looks like you need to buy 2 more knives ;)

:D:D

Well, that's out of the question for a little while. Gonna have to sell a piece or 2 just to pay for these :o Maybe I'll post in the WTT forum. Who knows maybe some HOG prefers sterile or needs sterile to make a set matching??? Thanks for the help guys

I remember something to the effect that the logoed, polished spine E's where near the end of the run wth the deserts beng the last. The handles got more confortable with time and I agree. The later models where much more confortable than the early models and yes they all came with polished spines and logos at one tme. The desserts were the best ones though. In order preference of E-handles for me

Desert with double cut spine - second most confortable handles
Black with polished spine
Zero Tolerance Satin finish
Terror Monkey series - these had the most confortable handles
Standard series
Zero Tolerance coated - were my least favorites.

looks like he needs 4 more, to complete BOTH sets, logoed and polished spine and sterile coated!

Don't get me started Yager...LOL Then there's always the Mr. Mojo CG. I guess while we're at it, don't forget the ZT's. Then comes the hard part of trying to get skunk to part with his Flying Badger:eek:

Logo'ed with polished spines were happenstance, not any particular timing.

When I was dealing, I never knew what I would get.

Usually a mixed bag.

Logos, non-logo, polished spine and fully coated.

As far as comfort, every Busse knife is at least a little different, Three that might look the same might well have a very different feel in the hand.
