Question for The crew. Does Busse use stabilized natural handle materials?

I have seen a few knives with bone and wood on the handles here and there, and it seems as though to be tough enough for a Busse it needs to be stabilized, but for some reason this is never mentioned. Could someone shed some light on the subject for me? Thanks.

Yes. The natural materials that we use are stabalized. Moisture removed by vacuum pressure and the an acrylic resin is forced into the material to fill the voids where the moisture was. Hope this helps.

Wait, what? A newb that doesn't understand what stabilized means wants to know what you're talking about :-P

They have to have something that is stabilized around there, everything else wobbles around especially the Janitor :)

Yes, that's what I was curious about. thanks!
FTW: Ironwood is one of the natural materials that doesn't really require stabilization (if you believe everything you read on the forums) because it's just that dense, and won't shrink. I think some people stabilize it anyway. And IIFC... Ebony doesn't need it either, since it is a naturally oily and dense wood.
