Question for the folder makers...Slotting Titanium for framelocks, should add Without a mill:D
Have a video where a dremel reinforced cut off wheel chucked into a drill press and cross vise are used.

Just wondering if you might have some other methods of cutting the slot???
Will be doing some off the wall stuff that may need more than a sraight line cut
Any suggestions would be a great help!

Right now I am just using the cut off wheel in the dremel and free handing it. Just go slow and try to keep the flying grit out of your mouth. Not very tasty, but works pretty darn good.

One of these days I will graduate up to a slitting saw on my mill.

A Kool Mist unit will help a lot if you are using the cut off wheels. No dust/grit or stink. Wheels last longer.

If you have a band saw, just cut the first 1" with the cut off wheel and do the rest with the bandsaw. Call me and I'll explain how.
