Hey guys...I just got a kydex sheath with a knife today and it doesn't have a drainage hole at the bottom. Is kydex easy enough to just drill into to make the hole? Should I heat it up a bit and try to pry the seam open at the bottom instead, or is it usually glued around the perimeter?

Thanks for the tips!

Easy to drill....... I wouldn't pry on it though.

Just drill at a low speed and careful not to punch through both sides.

Stick something down in the sheath to prevent going through, then drill a small hole. 3/16 or so.

Do not heat it and try to make a drain unless you know what you're doing. You'll cause massive rattle and affect reteintion.

I would use a hair dryer to warm it up then gently bend it. It does require a little bit of experience...
