Well since I haven't heard from a moderator yet, do any of you regulars here have a problem if I ask if anyone wats to talk about a possible trade deal?

Your best bet is to post what kind of sheath and what for and state that you're looking for a maker that accepts trades. Don't discuss the details on the forum. Take it to email or VM with anyone that follows up. In addition, make a post in the G&G Trade forum with what you're needing and what you want to trade for it. Hope that helps.

I doubt that there's anything wrong with posting your idea, then inviting leather workers to email you if interested.

Thank you for the responses. I was going to put something up in the exchange forum but was wondering if it would be out of line to post a request here as well. Since I am looking for a custom sheath I thought a maker that doesn't normally go to the trade section might be interested for a one time deal. I will post a separate thread with what I am looking for here so interested parties don't have to dig through this thread to find the specifics.
