Could You please help me to date this Kershaw Avalanche?
Particularly I am interested in blade steel.

Steel should be marked on other side of the blade. This is avalanche with bead blasted blade - usually they have black TiNi coating and CPM streel - old ones CPM 440V (S60V) and new ones CPM S30V.

But I do not really now this particular model. It should be some limited run, I guess? And so it may be some steel different from standard for this model.

Does it have a BOD on the blade?
Maybe that could narrow it down a little.

Just found this site via Google.

I don't know what language the site is in but at the bottom of the page
it shows the blade as being CPM 440V. I also seen a date of 1999 somewhere
on the page.

Just as a confirmation, all the uncoated Avalanche's were done up in 440V steel.
