I'm curious as to how much influence does the suggestions of BF members make on Kershaws production?

More specifically, would a large influx of member interest cause you to keep producing a specific model or bring back a popular model?

Also curious if member design suggestions have ever been used?

If this has been asked before, tough, I'm too lazy to search for it

More specifically, would a large influx of member interest cause you to keep producing a specific model or bring back a popular model? The Random Task and Talon were brought back.

Also curious if member design suggestions have ever been used? Seems like I remember Thomas saying yes to this but I don't remember the specifics.

There have been multiple times in the past that suggestions from posts/threads have been implemented in products. I think we're about as open as a manufacturer can be with regards to listening and applying specific requests from our base.

The latest feature we've advanced on due to forum urging is that of a deep carry pocket clips. A few of the new models will incorporate these specific type clips. We hope they benefit.

My personal opinion is that the members add up to be a very small percentage of our overall customers. It is unlikely they could bring back a disco'd pattern, but certainly could influence a high end boutique run.

We've never used a members design, but did hire a member on as a designer.

Appreciate the answers Thomas, and everyone else who replied. When I asked about a members design suggestion, I was more referring to things such as blade shape, or scale materials, etc, not so much an overall design. I think it's awesome that y'all hired on a BF member. So where do I send resumes?
