Just wondering guys, where do you get most of your info, advice and techniques on survival and related topics. I know alot of us rely on the internet but I also subscribe to Combat and Survival, plus some of the other shooting magazines run the odd article on survival. I feel envious of our friends across the water, so much more to choose from. :( :(

Yes I would have to say the net, (mostly US site's, God bless America) Books, (some good UK one's there )and C&S mag and gun mags. I think Michael Ryan and the like put a damper on things in the UK. that seemed to be the start of our law's getting anal big time, and without getting on the old soap box, things dont look like getting any better.The average prat with a vote seems to be misinformed,stupid and liberal (small L).The police get out of thier pram if you have blade bigger than a mini SAK, while there are drug dealers driving around with semi automatic weapons in their cars. Still at least England beat the french on Saturday. I will burn the soap box in will get me in S**T. Maybe someone sould start a UK web site. :eek:
 
Hey Guys, Your country across the pond has so many rich sources; such as "Lofty Wiesmann" (Former S.A.S. survival instructor): I know for a fact He has personaly written and shot a few video instruction formats. Although up here in the "Great White North", we do a lot of backyard expieriments to see what does, and what dosn't work.
Everything changes with the seasons, so you have to know your limits before you get into a mess you can't get out of.
