Uncle,
After seeing the HI Katana, I'm wondering if they could do this one? I'm sorry, but I couldn't figure out how to post a pic, but if you go to: http://trainingblades.com/ and goto their On-Line Catalog, then select "Main Catalog", "Swords/Long Blades" and finally "Gununting" you'll see pics and specs.
Their training version is a bit thicker since it's made from aluminum, but the real thing should be more in the spirit of a Kumar Cobra ... light & quick, so I it should be thinner. I'm thinking of a chiruwa (sp?) style sword. Could Kumar make a light/quick "chiruwa" (sp?) sword if he had one of the training models to work from and if so, what do you think it would cost (a "ball park" figure)?
Thanks,
Dave.
P.S. Sheath could be standard HI Khukuri style (modified as necessary of course) and chakma & karda would NOT be necessary (though a matching knife with a 6-8" blade would be really sweat)
