Now an then you see that noob make their way on the forum an you almost feel bad for him.. with the mysterious way Busse works you know they will be confused as hell until they learn the ropes.. operation 2 weeks, sr101 vs infi, battle grade, ... well there is still one thing I have not been through yet an still need clarification.. how does a ganzza situation work..???
You guys have helped me learn an this forum feels like home.. so I'll open my mind for the molding an consider school now in session:D
 
It depends on the ganzaa but usually a list of knives will be posted and you send in email orders. The catch is there is either an automatic go such as send in your emails at 7pm. Or the more fun version where jerry will post the go between say 7-9. And you ha e to keep an eye on the forum for the go. All emails that arrive after the go are accepted as first come first serve. And as always beware hog treachery

Ganza is the epitome of Busse trough warfare and fun of course. It's been a few years since I participated, but the general premise is that Jerry will make a few blades or special blade options available, and set an approximate date and time. At one point there will be a "GO" notice which can come from almost anywhere. At that point we all email what we want and hope. However there is much Hog treachery! Which also adds to the fun.
 
The ganzaas are a lot of fun, and they are what originally got me hooked on Busse's! Next to actually standing in the trough at Blade Show diving for cards it's about the most fun you can ever have trying to get the blades you want.

The trickery comes in when people who have created forum names similar to Jerry or Pokey post Go Go Go threads in attempt to get people to pull the trigger too quickly on their WTB emails.
 
Thanks Gents!! Sounds like I'm somewhat seasoned to being tuned into the forum because of the 2 week blade releases... I assume it's something you want funds ready an waiting.. if they are already built blades..I'm guessing payment an shipping would be pretty quick, none of this 1$ to order an 6 weeks to find the rest. Correct??

Glad to help, here is what you do.

You get a sponsor, usually a HOG that has been around 10 years or more.
Keep in mind you do this way before the Ganza has started, maybe even before it is announced.
It is also usually best if the HOG is in your state.
You e-mail or meet with said HOG and work out the particulars of what you would like, but more importantly what your HOG sponsor likes, blade shape likes and handle colors and so on.
You will now be a P.I.G.L.E.T. (Person In Ganza Learning Education & Training)
Then as Ganza time is getting closer you start formulating the plan.
Gather friends and family (it is better if they are not themselves collectors, more INFI for you) and get them set up with screen names and such so they can enter the Ganza for you.
Find out what your HOG sponsor is after so that he is assured of what he wants (this is key)
Gather lots of funds (if you think it is enough double it)
when it is Ganza time have everyone coordinated to be right there and cycle through all the places the go could happen.
***Listen to your sponsor, he will help you****
Before the go button is announced be sure to have a list and at the Top of the list is what the Sponsor HOG would like, everyone of friends and family need to go for those first as well.

No, they are typically not already built. The wait is just as long as operation 2 weeks.
