I have a wireless linksys router...and a range booster down stairs..everything is working fine till one day I start losing connectivity...when this happened my intel proset wireless modem is still showing excellent signal strength and I have excellent signal strenght for my wireless network but my computer loses the network address. Then I get the limited or no connectivity message and the internet goes down..

Often I have to reboot either the router or the booster or both to get the dam thing working again and since this time I have not been able to surf in the back of the house like I used to and I have not had the signal strength I used to have...any suggestions???

Sounds like more than one machine may be fighting for an address from the router. I setup my machines with static IP addresses to eliminate the router trying to assign an IP that is taken. It may also be possible that the network card in the affected machine is faulty. IE: .100 is server, .101 is main pc, .102 is wifeys computer, etc.

Make sure windows firewall or whatever firewall software may be installed, has not lost it's settings and is blocking you.
