Question from a humble beginner: Filing a saw blade

Hello all. I have a question for all you knowlegable knife making verterans out there. How do you put a saw blade on the spine of your knife? I bought a triangular file when i got all of my basic stuff (1x30 belt sander, belts, sand papers, etc.). Just wondering if there is a purticular way to do it that all of you fancy.
