I recently ordered a Schrade F26 to be used mainly as a tool while canoe camping in the backcountry. My only issue is the included sheath is pretty much a joke. Does anyone know what my options may be for a decent sheath for this particular knife? I have done some searching but haven't had much luck.

The sheath looks a lot like the one my (original) Becker Campanion came with, nylon/plastic liner. Not elegant but totally functional. You could make one yourself (I'd use the plastic liner); I generally make new sheaths for my FBs using latigo leather sealed with SnowSeal. A few simple tools (awl, cobblers needles, waxed nylon thread), available from a craft shop/leather supplier, are all that is required. Make a pattern from thick paper or fabric. That said, there are scores of 'real' sheath makers on this forum who can make whatever you require, with a level of craftsmanship way beyond my humble abilities:o.
