since they are discontinued, what should be the price today?
I would buy #5 or #7 but what I should spend today?
Are BASIC anyewhere on sale? :confused:
 
Keep an eye on the classifieds here, and I think
there's some for sale on Ebay right now. Since
they're no longer made it's a sellers market
so get them for what you can. You might also
want to check Swamp Rat Knifeworks!:)

I wouldn't be suprised if there are some Basic's still in the

vevodap are you from Europe? If so you might want to
check with Busse Deutchland I think he has some
Basics.
 
From Europe? originaly, yes, from Czech Republic,
For me, it is better to buy Busse in US, because the price is lover.
But anyway, those Busse in Deutchland Busse shop(mean Basic) are the same?

You can pick up a
Basic 3, a 5, a 7 and a 9 on ebay right now.
Just do a search for "Busse"
 
I would be surprised if any internet dealers have any in stock especially at anything resembling good prices. You can try, but your best bet is to get them off the for sale forums or Ebay.

Yes same knives just different sizes sold only to
European customers. Actually the Basic 4 is very
desireable in the USA.

Unless you have your heart set specifically on the Basic line, I would look into the Swamprats. Save some coin and search frustration.

This new line rocks.

What I mean wit this:
Basic #4 (instead #5?)
Basic #6 (instead #7?)

5" is 12,7cm than why its called #4
7" is 17,?cm than why #6

Or US #5 is not for 5" blade?
same with#7

As far as I know the number stands for inches in blade
length, even in Europe. Basic 4 is 4 inches and so on.
 
Than I'm confused,
WWW from Deutchland( http://www.bussecombat.de/shop_basic.html ) shows:


Basic 4-> info -> 12cm blade
1 inch=2,54cm
4 " =10.16cm looks to me this Basic has 5" blade(12,7cm)


Basic 6-> info -> 17cm blade
again 6" = 15,24cm looks to me this one is 7" (17,78cm)

I'm just trying figure out what is real lenght of these blades.

They are different knives.
The Basic 4 is smaller than the Basic 5. Same goes for the Basic 6.
They are higher in price over here, because we needed to add import taxes and sales tax on top.
Depending on where you live you might save the 16% sales tax.
