ahi folks, sorry to bother you guys, but , I am fairly certain that I just picked up a Randall "Thorpe" Bowie on Ebay for 60 bucks. It has the original sheath, it's black leather with a metal ball type closure. It's definitely used, but can anyone tell me what these things are worth? Does that sound like the original sheath? sorry, nope, don't have camera...............

Without pictures it's really difficult to tell. The usual sheath would have a snap either smooth or with Randall written on it. If you can list the ebay auction number I or any of us Randall nuts could look at it and tell you one way or another.

'peper, you are soooo funny! The man wrote "I am fairly certain that I just picked up a Randall "Thorpe" Bowie on Ebay for 60 bucks. It has the original sheath, it's black leather with a metal ball type closure." ;)

Sumpin' tells me the knife you referenced is 'not' one and the same...lol

Um, er, ah....'NO!'...lol

The (new) eBay ad that you referenced above said 'WWII theater knife, dagger, NO sheath. 13" overall, 8" blade. Used, in good condition."

In the original post, the poster wrote that the knife "has the original sheath, it's black leather with a metal ball type closure."

Nice try though ;)
