Question-INFI?

I was out looking around at gunshops this am and found a SH and BM, both mint straight handles. They have slotted screws and grooved handles. So here's the question, since all BMs are INFI, does the identical handle mean the SH is INFI as well?

Don't even ask how much I paid :D :D :D :D :D
 
Sorry, Jerry, but the statute of limitations and the 5th Amendment prevent me from answering. Let's just say, it was the kind of deal where you try and stay calm while ripping your pants pocket to get to your wallet. The scary part was when he handed me a bunch of printouts from the net about Cliff, I was afraind he might realize what he was doing. It pays to keep your eyes wide open. Local gunshops could wait a hundred years before someone wants to buy a custom/semi custom knife. This is me trying not to gloat :D :D
 
Eric, I looked at the links you provided. The handles of both the BM and SH are like the pic at the top of page 2. Partially grooved between the screws. So it appears the SH is an INFI SH2. Also, the top edge of the SH blade is uncoated, just like the handle.
 
Your SH2 is identical to the one I purchased in '98. Looks like INFI for sure.

But guys, isn't it easier to pinpoint the age by the sheaths instead of the blades, what with the proliferation of different sheaths being used?

OK, for Jerry and my friend Bravado. I asked what he had on the BM, the only one visible in the counter. Answer, $300, and we have two. Same price on the SH, but we'll make a group deal on the pair. How much of a deal? $500 for both. Like I said, I couldn't get to my wallet quick enough. :)

Man you just turned the whole MONEY/INFI ratio on it's head. It's s'posed to be money out INFI in but you definitely MADE money on that little find. SWEET.
