Hey guys, so I was just wondering if this is user error or if my expectations were just too high. I recently got a serrated Dragonfly 2 FFG with VG10 steel, and I was expecting it to be much better at cutting cardboard and zip-ties than my PE, hollow ground knives. I didn't notice any advantageous though, and was wondering if maybe I was cutting the cardboard the wrong way to maximize the serrations? Same thing with zip-ties. That being said, my skyline was razor sharp when I was comparing them. Am I doing something wrong, or were my expectations just too high for the serrations? Maybe the dragonfly would have done worse than it did if it was not serrated, and I'm comparing apples to oranges because of it's smaller blade length? Also, I was wondering if you guys can cut paper with each individual serration. I can, but sometimes not very cleanly. Sorry for the rambling guys. Any suggestions?
