hi, i was wondering if it was possible to have a buck110 if mine repaired. the blade has become wobbly, and the lockup has gotten so bad it is dangourus. i have another 110 now, so i was thinking of sending this one in, when i realized that it was my fault it was broken, and probably shouldnt be covered under warrantee. If it is though, then i will be able to give it to one of my friends, as they all love mine. Thanks in advance

Seeing as how Buck has the ABSOLUTE best customer service department warranty that I know of, I am sure they will help you out. The person you really want to get in touch with though is Joe Houser, Moderator of this forum. You can email him by clicking on his name at the top of the forum page. He's a great guy and if there is a way for Buck to take care of your knife under waranty, he will make sure it happens. One thing to keep in mind, if the 110 has nay sentimental value and you want to make sure you get the same knife back once its repaired, make sure you let Joe know! Buck has been known to send out brand new knives as warranty replacements.

BTW - WELCOME to BLADEFORUMS - feel free to drop in here anytime to check the latest news on Buck stuff, find out info about an older, or newer knife, or just chat....

Gypsy is probably posting as I am typing this, so excuse any duplication. Send the knife in to Buck knives. I would (and have ) sent in a letter of what was done to the knife and if not repairable under warranty then to contact you with the cost of repairing it. Make sure they have your number or an email address. Joe Houser is the person to contact with questions at Buck.
Dont forget to think about joining the Buck Collectors Club where you'll get a world of information.
take care

thanks for the suggestion guys. i sent Joe Houser an email. i think ill pull up a chair and stay here for a while ;)

Since you're pulling up a chair, make sure it's a comfortable one and click on the links in my signature line. Visit the Buck Collector's Club as guy suggested and see if there might be something there for you. Whether you are a "serious" collector, someone who just owns a couple Buck "users" and want to know more, or someone looking for the newest knife on the market, I think you'll find what you are looking for. And don't forget to visit the BUCK web site for even more info on the knives, collecting, and the technology behind the blades.

In any case, glad to have you hear..... :);)

Welcome Kronos!

Be sure to let us all know the condition of your knife when it returns to you.

Take care,
