Question on 110

Though theories abound.......nobody has ever come up with a satisfactory answer on that, Mak.

They are just interesting dots and they do appeal to collectors (even though they are just another Buck mystery.......it's nice to have a few in your collection).

I was wondering why this collector would have 2 of the same model. They seem like standard 110s with FG. MTPokt let me know about the dots.

Didnt the dot denote a change?
He may have just bought two at the same time.

Old 2-dot blades used in 1987. I'd guess 1/3 or so 1987's have the dot. Not rare.

Full Disclosure: I'm guessing and have nothing to back it up!

As I remember it........the old two-dot blades would be shaped differently than the normal 1987 blades and that would immediately give them away.

I don't see that on these blades.

Correct me if my memory is failing.

:D

For those with access........I refer you to the December 2005 newsletter.

It's been many years and maybe Joe has learned more than what he shared in that article.

Those of you with special connections might ask him when he gets back from hunting.

Maybe you could share the answer here.
