question on 3rd version 110

Thanks in advance

Hi "lifter4Him", love your user name.
Take a real close look; does your knife have a brass spacer or steel? The earliest 3's had brass. Remember that 3rd version 110's are differentiated from 2nd version by the big change: the way the knife was made, there are several small changes within the version. If it has brass for the bolster spacer, and is truly mint - probably up to $150 without the proper sheath. I sold one with the sheath and the box, all new for $225

Thanks Vern and welcome to the forums. If by spacer you mean the strip between the bolsters in the butt end, it is silver(stainless?). I was originally asking $100 then lowered to $95, would you guess that this is too high or about right? Thanks for your help.
BTW-if you like my user name you must have the same senior partner as the Buck company! I love that note they put in with their products.

Dave,
Several of us on this forum pledge allegiance to that Senior Partner with thanks to his son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Thanks for all of the welcomes guys. I have been reading since June but finally felt I needed to jump in. Dave, yes - the spacer between the rear bolster halves is steel if it is shiny. In this old of a knife it is actually 440C. You are good on the price; I suggest using different auction sites if you don't get what a knife is actually worth on the first one you try. I have the best results on eBay but you might try ForTheHunt.com also.

EVERYONE has the some "Senior Partner", it's just that lots of people choose to not do business with Him because they think it will cost them something (usually a habit that's harmful anyway).

Vern

I'm sure that the Senior Partner is one of the things that makes Buck such a good company. Their tract is a good tool ... two good tools in one box!

Thanks for your help everyone. This one is gone.

Vern, exactly. What you said about everyone having the same senior partner, just that some choose not to do business with Him.
Goes with what I always say-whether we believe it or not, the truth is still always true.
