Question on a Corbet Sigman knife

Here are two that was in my fathers collection. I'm just not sure if the handles are African Blackwood or Indian water buffalo horn. Any thoughts?

I'm hedging they are horn. I don't see any pores. Pores = wood.

They are quite likely horn. The smooth one has some white streaking near the thong tube.
