Question on a lile knife

i have a question on the lile knives.

is the first blood knife only had 100 serialed bumber and no non derial numbered.

also when lile knives was open was a first blood knive called a sly 2 with screw driver tips?

i was curious on this as i am confused as someone said the first blood knives was never unserialized.

is this true?

I'll take a stab at this one...

There were 13 original and numbered First Blood knives. 14 teeth and screwdriver guard. Price: ?

Then came 100 First Blood knives. Numbered, 12 teeth, and screwdriver guard. Price: $1000

Then the Sly II. Not numbered, 12 teeth, lugged guard. Price: $560

After Lile's death, I believe the shop once again offered the Sly II with 12 teeth and a screwdriver guard, but the guard was flat on the sides instead of rounded like the originals.

If you get any chance at a Lile knife, especially one made prior to his death, I would recommend buying it.
 
Thanks so my next question is the ones that are selling on ebay sometimes is a sly 2 with screwdriver gaurds eh as they advertise em as first blood knives.

my 2nd question is whats the deal with the 14 teeth then the 12 teeth on the knife?

It was my understanding that after the original 100 First Blood knives were sold, Lile introduced the Sly II with the lugged guard to protect the value and collectablity of the original 100 knives with the screwdriver guard. I thought that it was only after Lile's death that the shop offered the Sly II with a screwdriver guard but with flat sides, not rounded. However, the knife on ebay, although being as I just described, has a pre-death stamp (no dot above Lile). Not sure why???

Regarding the teeth, for some reason, the original 13 movie knives had 14 teeth. Perhaps, Lile decided to go with 12 teeth thereafter to save time filing.

Regarding the name, whether a knife is one of the original 100 First Blood knives or a Sly II, most people still call them a "First Blood knife."

Regarding the original 13 movie knives, I remember reading that Stallone kept #1 thru #7 and Lile kept #8 thru #13.
 
i just seen thread and got my real lile knife out to look. sure enough there is a #4 inside handle where the blade is affixed.
