Question on announcements

My dear friend and mentor, Tim Hancock, is selling his major shop equipment.
He has asked me to organize and announce the sale with equipment list, pricing, etc.
Can I post just an announcement here with basic info (no pricing or photos, just basic info on what equipment is in the sale, and an email address to get more information) without buying a paid subscription?
