Question on AS neck sheath

Hi,
I just picked up an Assault Shaker and the neck sheath that came with it has paracord. I want to put a chain on it similar to dog tag chains. Where do they sell something like that?

First thing I found doing a google search using "Dog Tag Chain". Hope this helps and those AS's are sweet. I loved mine, and did a paracord wrap for better grip.:thumbup:

Thanks for the link. I like the paracord but I just don't want it around my neck. If it were to get stuck on something it wouldn't break.

You may even want to check a local Army/Navy store. They may get you going quicker:thumbup:

I went to my local hardware store and got a light chain pull for mine. Quick and cheap.

Someone, hmm, maybe on maybe Gadgets/Gear, had a thread where you cut n gut the 550, and put the dogtag/light chain thru it, with the breakaway clasp at the opening, giving you a breakaway necklace.

The 550 sheathing is easier on the skin/hairs...

correct, but at least you would have a good knife to use to cut that same cord

you can buy that dog tag chain at Wal-Mart, Home Depot, and Lowes,,

I bought some from Lowe's before, but i have seen it at Wal-Mart and Home depot too.
