May be looking to add a 110 50th anniversary model to my collection..
question..
Is the B&C 50 anniversary 110 in the tin, more collectable than just the regular 50ths….

there are for sale locally ..he also has a 50th new in a blister pack rack package
which would you take?

There is an old thread from the time they were released - MANY MANY variations of the 50th were released, so many I’m not sure anyone cataloged them all. I’d buy whichever one you like the best, or both if you can swing it. The most collectible would be the address named versions, quite limited compared to the rest. The ‘regular’ and ‘commemorative tin’ Folding Hunters have the typical anniversary markings. OH

Get one of each for the collection, then one more to carry occasionally. That's what I did. You're lucky to find some still in the wild.

I wouldn’t pay a premium for them. I doubt they will go up in value much.

Is it in the tin? Is the tin worth the extra money to you? Only you can decide that. It wouldn’t be worth it to me.

Flip side: You can get a new one for $60. $15 isn’t much of a premium. So it’s sort of inconsequential. If you like it $15 more than a regular new one buy it.

If you think it will skyrocket in value and want an investment. I think you’ll be disappointed.
