I have a Benchmade 156BT - Great camp knife!. I always have it in my pack, and it a pleasure to use. My leatherman tool is in the front pouch, always ready at hand. I have never belt carried it, and yesterday I decided to take it along on a hike. I got it on, but I am not sure if I did it right. If anyone has one, can they tell me what all of the snaps and flaps, and velcro is for? I slipped my belt in between an opening, but still not sure if I got it right. What is all of this for? It is well done, and purposeful, but I am ignorant as to what all of these features are for. Can anyone inform me?
Thanks,
Dave.

Hey David..

Sounds to me like a MOLLE ready sheath...

If it is,, it's to be used to be attached to a MOLLE vest or something else..

A strap is weaved through ladder loops on the vest..

Hope that helps

Eric - Now that I look at it, you are probably right.
Thanks,
Dave.
