never saw them up close, and the pictures I see online look black and white... is the tan really light/tinted or does it just not photograph well? looks like a completely different color than the tan micarta which seems slightly orange to me.

if I'm way off in what I'm seeing, then I have to get my monitor and phone calibrated.

thanks!

The tan in black and tan has always appeared more grey to me.

It isn't black and white...but it isn't anything like tan micarta, either. The images I've seen are consistent with the black & tan I've received.

To me both in person and on screen it looks much more like white than tan.

thanks guys... sounds like the color is more like the foam on a black and tan beer than actually tan. I could see it being grey in the pictures as well- but im just not seeing the brownish color "tan" in there, hence my confusion.

my tglb in black/ tan looks more like black/ cream. think cookies n cream colored

I think that's the most accurate description.

In my opinion its the probably the best looking 2-color G10 Busse does.

It's definitely closer to a white than a tan.

nice selection there! and yeah i like that combo as well- just wanted to make sure my eyes and screen werent playing tricks on me

Nope they're not.

The black and tan does appear quite black and off white almost. Some pieces of it have a slightly grey hue to them, some a slightly blue hue to them.

All of them are beautiful. It's probably my favorite color of G10, it really pops and is very striking.

The tan is subtle. It's a very light cream color with hints of grey from the black coming through.
This is the best pic I can give you shot in outdoor diffused lighting:

This pic is as true to color as I have seen.
