question on BM 690 carbon fiber

I was wondering if the all carbon fiber scale BM 690 comes with a plain edge blade with no black coating?

The 690 comes in a variety of configurations, including coated (BT2), partly serrated and even BC1 coated. They even came out with a model with ivory micarta and Damasteel.

Whoops!! I see you were referring to the all-carbon fiber scales. I'm not sure how they are shipping them.

yah thats what i found out from the nice guy at plaza cutlery and the fact that it's only right handed has already made me dismiss it as a possible buy
