Someone said . . . "However, due to the blade heavy design it doesn't always like to stay closed especially when its not clipped but just shoved in your pocket (razor sharp blades have their drawbacks, says my third finger...)"

Here at. . .http://www.parkcitiestactical.com/ubb/Forum5/HTML/000014.html

Is it true?

I had an Emerson Commander, with his 'wave' design. I never cut myself, but there were a few times when I forgot about this design and pulled it out of my jeans without thinking. (But then, history will show when I pull something out of my jeans I'm not usually thinking, anyway, but I digress). I'm not a big fan of chisel grinds, although I own several and there are times when it's the right tool. I thought my knife was 'over hard,' and it was a nightmare to sharpen, even on the Edge-Pro. At 2 bills each, I thought it was over-priced when an Emerson CQC7-B could be had for 90 bucks. Fortunately, a friend of mine with more money than brains bought the knife, and I don't miss it a bit. If you need the strength of this knife, I think you need a fixed blade.--OKG
