When did Chris Reeve Start stamping his blades with S to signify the blade is S30V ? Were they present in the early s30v Regular Sebenzas? I know the new steels are stamped V and wanted to know if BG-42 also had some marking? Saw a guy selling an regular and he doesnt know the steel (no dob card) and it was made on the transitional times so may be s30v or BG42. Thanks

ATS-34 wasn't stamped
BG-42 wasn't stamped
S30V was stamped with an S
S35VN is stamped with a V

I have seen blades with a C which I believe they did with a small number of Classics at the time that had BG-42. I never had one but have seen pics on here. This Classic that I mentioned looked like the classic/21 we know of, not a regular sebenza style just to clarify.
