Are there any known reports of counterfeit CS San Mai Trail Masters? Personally, I have not encountered any. While CS folders are heavily targeted, aside from the Tantos, I have not personally run across any counterfeit(fake) CS fixed blades. Thanks.

I have seen fake Trail Masters, but not any that claimed to be San Mai. The ones I've seen are marked like the old black-coated CV TMs, but aren't black.

My experience is the same as John's. I've never witnessed a Trail Master counterfeit purported to be San Mai. For what it's worth, all of the fake Trail Masters I've seen have been posted in my counterfeit thread.
Thanks Steve. Yes I looked through your thread and noted the same.
However there appears to be some VG1 San Mai counterfeits (Master Hunter, Outdoorsman)
so I was wondering as there are ebay sellers selling SM TMs at relatively low prices.
