Question on customizing Buck knife

If you try to customize a 119 on Bucks web site. You start at $110, for the base model. So there is an automatic $40 charge before you do any customization.

Has that charge always been there ?

Probably upcharge for "BUCK Custom" etch on the blade.

Great question. I just recently bought a knife from Buck custom but the knife went from Buck to Leroy. I traded the S30V blade to him for my one in 5160. Did that S30V blade say Buck custom on it?
