Hello all, I have been watching the dui chirra for some time and think it is a beautiful blade. My absolute favorite though is the astk. However I will probably end up with a dui chirra and want to know do the rideges.in the blade hinder chopping performance. While very beautiful I think it would create more resistance. Someone correct if I am wrong and please.explain why.

Quite the opposite actually. The Chirra actually reduce resistance by lessening the contact area on the sides of the blade, thereby reducing binding.

Yup and they also look wicked cool and looking cool is job one with me.

Give me a highly polished 57 chevy with no motor over a high efficiency Prius any day of the week..

And if it's got dual exhaust and really gets lost, well I'm in heaven.

Hey you the same Tom I went to 3rd grade with what was always trying to lick the flag pole?

You all the way in Ohio now, like old times.

I was the guy usually licking windows that saw ya after recess when everybody else come in and you was all alone.

Those couple times I pulled your drawers down around your ankles, well I apologize for that. I was a sick prankster in those days.

I went to 3rd Grade in southern California. It snowed once there in my first twenty-five years. Licking flag poles would have been Winter Safe, but not all that interesting. Now windows, ......

I was 5" taller then the next biggest kid in class until sixth grade when I shot up. Fortunately, I had been taught that a gentleman didn't hurt the little kids - and to avoid the face if it came to blows. I did know a real prankster once - 3rd and 4th grades. Brought a lizard to class once and left it in the teacher's desk drawer. His parent were both alcoholics, and he spent the night at my house a lot. I gave him some socks once 'cause he didn't have any. He supposedly died in ninth grade (aneurysm) when he was at Anaheim High, so it's probably not you. If it is, I want the socks back.

LOL, If Bawanna had a pair of your socks, You probably don't want em back anymore...No telling what he would use socks for these days :D

Well socks and shoes last a very long time for me, nearly forever, especially the sole. I have shoes 10 years old that I could probably take back to the store if they still made PF Fliers that is.

I'll have to check my records but I don't think I died in the 9th grade but I did go to Disneyland which as I recall is in Anaheim, not to be confused with aneurysm which I have not had yet but I was in the hospital with some folks that did.

So in summary there might be a connection here. And yes I was one of the little people in grammar school, only low window licking for me. Actually I'm still a little people.

When I applied for Seattle PD and the Washington State Patrol after they lowered their standards I barely met the 5' 6" height requirement and even then the guy told me to stretch my neck to make it. Even though I did well on all the test and I could still hear canon blast back then neither agency hired me which turned out to be good. Seattle scares me.

It was only after I became a full fledged derelict that I got to hire on and play with cops. Not in any mano mano way ya understand.

There's a tune going through my head now.....short people got no reason to live........no short people round here......

Now tell me your left handed and we'll be even and we can lick windows happily ever after.

Well i'll be darned. I'm looking around and I can't seem to find my net and my billy club.........

Thomas provoked me and lured me in like a spider and a fly Karda. I'll be good, really I will, not the net, anything but the net.

Bawanna, you give that feller his socks back! And yes! You smell like you died back in 9th grade! Maybe, just maybe, it's them socks you ain't washed since 9th grade?

Sorry. Strictly Dexter. But not in a stabby way, you understand.

Only in Seattle in '68, but I too found it scary. Free showers every day in August.

A dui chirra would have given a way to channel the runoff.
