Question on Edge Brand Knife

I have a huge bowie (bout 16" overall) with a stag handle, aluminum bolster and buttcap. Just stamped "Edgeband, solingen". The blade is about 1/4" thick and heavy as hell. I have been able to find very little info on this company other than they are/were German and made a lot of stuff during WW2. I would like to be able to find out the model # etc. If anyone knows where I might find info on this I would appreciate it a great deal. The knife is in excellent condition and I would be interested to find out it's general value.

I would post this on levines question forum, I do know that edge brand imported alot of knives from solingen, some were'nt the highest quality, but for the price they were a pretty good bargain! I think the only drawback was that much of the leather for the sheaths were pretty light 6-7oz.
