Has anyone polished out the stone washed blades? If so was it real difficult. Thinking of getting a tan one but not overly crazy about the stone wash. Was thinking of using wet/dry paper on one. Any thoughts?
Here is part of a post by David Martin a couple weeks ago. He was giving me some great advice on blade polishing
I have a feeling this could be helpful to go from stonewashed to mirror finish, if desired.
The sisal buff with grey compound is the work-horse and removes scratches. The 'sewn' cotton wheel with green compound is for polishing. Then a loose, cotton, layered wheel with pink compound is for a final mirror polish. DM
