Can you only buy knives from the current year? I look in their shop and there's not really alot of knives available. Is every knife just made once or are the older ones made on demand?

As mt stated above, you need to check the distributors. Also, the big online auction site but you may have to contend with some price inflation. In my opinion, the exchange here on BF is the best source for past years offerings, NIT, LNIT, and used. You just have to be patient.
