Question on handle scales

I am about to order my first piece of INFI...The Badger Attack. I know I want magnum scales (most knives get lost in my hands). I have many knives with micarta and G10 handles, and I have noticed that the "grippieness" is different on them due to the treatment of the scale material. I was wondering if someone could let me know if the Busse micarta was "raw" so you can feel the texture of the substrate like on a Rat-3,5, or 7 from Ontario, or if it was slicked up like you get on a Bark River knife with micarta handles? I plan on an od green blade with black mag handles in either black micarta or black G10. I finally convinced myself to get one of these, and hell, if for some reason I don't like it, I should be able to get my money back out of it. I have been trying for a Game Warden off the company store, but never get there before you hogs have cleaned the trough, and I can't bring myself to pay the marked up prices I see in the exchange on most of them. Not saying there is anything wrong with it in the least, just that I choose not to buy that way.

I can't speak to the Ontario comparison, but the Bark Rivers are much slicker than Busse micarta. Remember that no matter which you choose, grippier texture is just a blasting cabinet away....

Raw. They make a Rat-7 feel slippery. VERY grippy. Lots of canvas in that canvas micarta. Will definitely make you think, "Gee, I DID order BLACK micarta, right? This is gray/green. Hmmmm."

As I have said before, I'm a Huge micarta fan. I have many micarta knives and Busse has THE BEST MICARTA of anyone. They have the best grip of any micarta knives I have ever held.

There micarta is what got me here. That and the INFI is whats keeping me here.

Well.............looks like Micarta is a no brainer then. Thanks a bunch for all the opinions/advice. OD green blade with magnum black micarta it is.....time to go order.....then wait and wait and wait and hope it gets here before I have grand children :)
