I've searched extensively online and talked to a couple collectors but there's still a small mystery that remains unsolved about two hitler youth knives I have left to me by my grandfather. I'm fairly certain they're reproductions, they look practically new and the scabbards don't match the descriptions of what authentic ones are supposed to look like. They don't have RZM markings but they do have the kissing crane logo and Robi Klaas Solingen engraved on the backs. On the front they have the Blut und Ehre! motto, but also KC8 and KC7 etched into them, which I've seen on other Klaas blades. I read another post saying something about Robert Klaas blades being made mostly in China now(searching for Klaas is what brought me here in the first place), but would they have the same logo like that? I'm mainly wondering because if it was in Solingen Germany then maybe they aren't replicas, because after the war anything with the swastika on it was made illegal in the country. Any information anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated.
