Question on INFI swords

Were all AK47's made with CBT? Including customs, ganzaas, etc. Just wondering. The ruck's were not, I know that.

On another note, have there been any factory satin INFI swords made - I seem to remember the Dragon Fang was satin, but any others?

Thanks all!

The all had CBT except maybe a satined custom or two. Of course plenty here have had their's stripped and satined, convex (which also removes the CBT's), etc.

CBT or no CBT aside, here's a couple of factory satin Custom Shop AK pics.

The first is mine. It is different from the original Minumental Ganza AK pic, so there's at least two of these in the world, as evidenced by the second pic (which is the original sighting from the Minumental Ganza pics).

That was basically the one I was referring to. Aside from that customer model (and I don;t know how many were made) you can find AK's without CBT's in threads where members modded out their coated blades.

Now I remember the whole Corrugated Bevel Technology thing. I ordered an AK from Busse when they were available direct from bussecombat.com but forgot all about that until now.

I thought corrugated bevels were the ridges on FBMs, HRs, PBSs, and such. I guess I'm confusing my corrugations.

Your not confused, the bevels on the AK are much finer, the CBT is pretty much hidden by the coating. The stripped ones show it real well.

I don't have a pic of a stripped one.

I didn're e read anything abou the original thread at all beside cbt? BUT NO cbt on the AK. Tiny got the AK! congrats bro, the tan on tan is nice too! CBT supposdely adds more suffarace areas. whocj strengthens the sword, but INFI is tought stuff anwayss so beat it up!

Mr pink are you reading the same thread I am, or is there a code hidden somewhere..:D:D:D Ak's have tiny cbt's that are almost all filled in by the powder coat..

AK47's, Badger Attack Tac's and Satin Jack Tac's had the same tiny little CBT's. Did I miss one?

Thanks for the replies. So apparently, only Moloko has a factory satin one that we know of.

Leatherman - I have only had the BATACLE and SJTACLE in my hands...but I was not aware that the CG versions had CBT. Is anyone able to show that in a photo?

Some 'light' machine work on an FSH I had might meet that 'tiny little CBT' criteria...

It more closely resembles stock removal marks than 'CBT' as on the CGFBM, etc.

These are light horizontal machining visible when the coating is removed...

I am not talking about the new or old Aks.

I am talking about the few INFI Customs that got made in between.

All I remember were bead blasted, Satins would be cool and pictures would be fun to see.

I was a little but tipsy when when I wrote that. :D

The majority of AKs I've seen were all modded by Ban so I had no idea they had CBTs. I did get to handle a completely stock AK (gimmejr) and I do recall very small CBTs, I just thought it marks from the coating or something. So I take back I what I said earlier!

Right, they are not CBT as seen on the CGFBM or Jackhammer, but tool marks that I assumed were from the CNC cutting head carving the bevels of the blade.

CGFBM, HR, JackHammer = CBT

AK47, Ruck = Small CBT

SJTAC, BATAC, etc....= Machining Marks
