question on JD Smith....

Just received my PE JD Smith from Spyderco Outlet. I really like it, but I notice when closed the blade is over to one side. It locks ups super tight.... being a lockback , should I be concerned , or is this unimportant?

I think its mostly a factor of the knife being somewhat asymetrical due to the single steel liner and the washer on the clip side. Blade tip on mine does seem to "favor" the liner side slightly, but nothing rubs and the lockup, like yours, is rock solid.
