question on making your own bow and using the AH-1 for arrows.

Hey guys,
I'm new here, so not sure if this has been covered but I was wondering if there is a 'how to' on making your own bow and arrows, be cool if the arrow heads were the AH-1 as well! I'd love to have a go at this, but not to sure about any aspect really, like making bow stings, the type of wood for the bow and the arrows, attaching the heads etc. Any help would be great!

I'm not sure of anything online but arrow making is a frequent topic in "Primitive Archer Magazine". I buy mine at a local bookstore but it is also available at Barnes & Noble and Borders Books as well.

I bought them for my son, who has been consumed with the idea of making his own bow. He really seems to enjoy them and is constantly pouring over them for new techniques and knowledge.

He also has spent countless hours on Youtube watching videos on bowmaking. Try looking there; I'm sure you can find a number of decent videos there to get you started.
