Went back by my local K-Mart tonight, and found they still had 5 big Schrage lockbacks, so I bought one. When I got home I noticed that the plastic blister pack had a black sticker on the outside that said "60TNCP", but when I cut it open to take out the knife and sheath, the cardboard directly under the sticker said "70T Cave Bear" the knife has "60T" on the tang, so I am assuming that at some point, Schrade had leftover 70T packaging and used them with 60T knives, or did they change the model number?

To tell the diff between the 6 & 7OT The 6OT has no rear brass bolster.
Your just lucky the packaging didnt say Taylor.

Yeah, mine is a 6OT then. Looks like a Buck 110 and a Remington 1306 had a love child!

HAHAH good one!...they still have 4 more at 19.00, seriously at that price think it would be worth it to maybe buy 1 or 2 more and leave them in the package for future selling?

The 2004 MSRP from Schrades price list on the 6OT is $51.95. I am guessing it would be more had there been a 2005 pricelist. $20 to me does not sound like a bad price. But Schrade market investments are a bit out of my league.

I would watch some mint ones on ebay to get a feel for the prices folks are willing to pay now, then try to guess how much more they would be willing to pay at whatever point in the future.

My own uneducated guess is that the worst you would do is break even. Best case is that you could make a bit off them, or better yet, trade them for more Schrades you don't yet have. A lot of us have been doing that.

I agree with Codger about buying a couple to trade, for now or in the future. I did a bunch of Schrade trades not long ago, got to know a few of my fellow forum members better and filled some holes in my collection.

I don't think the powers that be around here would mind a post up in our 'Sticky' that you have added some Schrades to the Exchange (Trade) forum.. and then go into detail at that forum.
