Sal, I just saw the OD Delica with the black blade listed as AUS-6A, mine is VG-10, I saw it on bestknives.com and wrote to them informing them of the mis print and Mike the CS rep wrote me back saying that he had confirmed it to be AUS-6A.
Is it possible some went out with the 6A instead of the VG-10?
Thanks, Ron

Mine has VG-10 on the blade. You might want to e-mail them again and see if that Delica has the integral plastic clip or if it is the newer metal clip. I think Spyderco has released this version of the Delica before, and they might have some of the older ones in stock.

Flinx, damn I didn't think about that!
I suppose it's possible there's a few still floating around like that, what threw me was the A6 steel.
I know the SS models use it now but I thought the only steels ever used in the FRN models were GIN-1 AUS-8 ATS-55 and the current VG-10, anyway thanks for the reply. Ron

Yeah, after I replied to your question, I thought about that. I'm sure your right, and they only used Aus6a in the stainless steel ones. This makes it even more of a mystery! Maybe Sal will chime in and clear it up.

OD Green FRN Delicas, black blade, steel clip are all VG-10. None were made in any other steel.

OD Green FRN, stainless blade, integral plastic clip were all Gingami.

No AUS-6 OD Green FRN models have ever been built.

Don't know who they are confirming with? but they are mistaken.
