Question on ordering a busse

Ok , I have been drooling over some busse knives for quite awhile now,and really want to order a busse , but here's my situation and I need some advice on what to do , We have a little one on the way and the wife gave me the option to buy one more knife for awhile so I bought one I had been eyeing. Now I was gonna be done, I even put a lot of my knives up for sale to try and buy a busse but no dice, so I went to the website and saw there was a 4-14 week wait period for the knife, when the wife saw this , she said, If you can get them to go more on the 14 week period insteada the 4 week then order the knife, So my question is would it be possible to order a busse and specifically ask that it be put on the back burner for awhile, so that my wife will not kill me??? The obvious answer would be just to save and wait, but I'm afraid If i dont get the order in the knife may be gone as I have read that busse only makes certain knives for a certain time then theyre gone. WHAT DO I DO ?? HELP
 
Hmmm....sticky situation. I think it really depends on the knife ordered as to how much your wait time will be. It seems that most are getting their blades around the 8-10 week mark, but I've seen a few guys on here get things in 4 weeks or less. One way around it, is that you could just order the knife you want from the custom shop and get something else done to it that you want, and that would probably help push that wait time out a little bit! I know, I'm terrible, but that is probably what I would do lol! Just a thought though....;)
 
I would just call the shop and ask Pokie or Lexi. I am sure they can set you up.

I think that their Trade The Baby For A BUSSE Knife offer expired a few weeks ago. So you might be out of luck. ;)

On a more serious note: Congrats on the Little One on the way.

So great that the BUSSE folks can help you out.

A happy Wife - a brand new little life and a Busse knife. It doesn't get much better than that.

Well, possibly a years supply of free bacon could make things a bit better.

When I get a spare minute I'll place the order right now all I'm doing is working and sleeping , hopefully by the end of the week I'll have an order in thanks everyone.
 
A tglb with a custom sheath that also houses a mean street sounds tempting....I mean what's the worst that could happen I have a nice big comfortable leather couch I can sleep on....lol
