I'm wondering if it's been designed so that the user can take it apart and put it back, the same way as Sebenza?
Thanks!

Pinnacle..if you are ready to void BM warranty, yes, you can dissasemble it easy. torx 5 or 6 and 8 or 9.
I've probably disassembled 10 different pinnacle, each at least 2 times and my own at least 20 times.
The screws work real good, just don't tighten them too hard to strip them. the just need to keep the knife together. Oh..when assemble it again, but don't tighten any screw.. do that when the knife is in one piece, and keep switching from screw to screw, as if you need to tighten them all together. I had one pinnacle which when I tightenend one screw, the other came loose..go figure !

Oh.. I found that if you replace the backspacer with an steel one, and satin finish the clip and spacer, it looks mucho better.

I don't have a 750, but I've disassembled other knives in which the stop pin is not a screw and it is just set into inserts in the liners, so when you remove one liner you can just take it out. It shouldn't pose any problems.

I haven't taken mine apart, but it looks like if you take the rest of the handle apart, the stop pin is effectively "nested" between the two Ti slabs and held together by the pivot pin.

Hopes this makes some sense.

To me it looks more like a pressure fit piece, BM uses a lot of these.

I would bet if you take it apart, you can use a brass or nylon drift (a punch) to knock it out of there.

From your picture it looks like one side of the pin is bigger than the other, you would want to hit the smaller side ;)

Naw, actually it's the same size. The top picture was re-sized to fit. :)

Where did you find a steel backspacer?

Sources ;) tell me that it is indeed just a pressure-fitted stop pin. And, don't worry too much about stripping screws. BM uses 416 stainless screws and hardware, and their threadserts that receive the screws on the reverse side of the handle (and inside for the clip screws) can take commonsense tension. Loctite's always a welcomed addition to BM screwthreads too, unlike the Seb.

Good luck!

Professor.
