Besides the old adage of you receive what you pay for are has anyone been able to compare side by side the quality of the Frost Crane Predator knife and the Jack Crain version of this knife?

well....I didnt know frost cutlery made a Jack Crain copy of the predator knife, but I'm sure the only similarity is cosmetic.

The Crain knife is a custom, and a high performance knife. The Frost cutlery is probably made from inferior materials and wouldnt do the work a Crain custom would. I'd say the Crain would cut that frost in half.

Howdy,

Frost did make some decent knives back in the day. The Frost is a very decent knife at its price point, but the Crain is definatly better in the fit and finish department. It's also 10-15 times more more.

Also, if you want the Crain, buy it from a dealer, Crain is a sleaze when it comes to filling orders.

ve had all of them

frost crain, crain non limited edition and limited edition versions
the frost is a pile of crap trust me!:thumbdn:
