Purchased the gold now.

Have a small collection of Randall Made knives that I am looking for info and the general value of. Do I do that here or elsewhere? Nothing for sale yet.

Thank you

Being a Gold Member you can ask values here. Post up some pics and info 👍 You can also research custom knife dealers websites for values on similar Randalls to yours.

If you are not familiar with the "Arizona Custom Knives" (of, ahem, Florida 😁, but don't let that detract you) brokerage site, that would be a good resource to look at. They have a good volume of trade and you can see what knives have sold for in the past and are offered at in the present.

Ebay advanced search will give you sold prices. Keep in mind Ebay asks for about 12-15% so take that into consideration.

Thanks everyone. Here's what I've got. I numbered them to make it easy on me when the comments come.

The back of the sheath is important to show as it will indicate if it is the correct sheath for the knife. You have 8 knives in total. Not a lot of details on the knives. So I would assume $500.00 per knife and you will probably do better than that. Also good pictures of the Randall stamp are helpful as we can tell if the blade is carbon steel or stainless. Stainless has an S on the stamp.

Here's those close ups. Let me know if that helps. Numbered the same.

No2 is not an Astro. The model numbers are on the back of the sheaths.

Post this out to the Randall collectors forum. You have some older Randalls in your collection. They should be able to give you some more input. As Chris mentioned you have a Rare Astro, No. 4, the Model 7 is a sweet knife too.

I thought I was in the Randall collectors forum?

Well, wow.
So I wrote Randall Knives on Thursday to see if they could help identifying these, and Jason Randall replied tonight. He must have been bored.
He wouldn't give me value on them, as he said "I can't give you used value, as I deal with new knives. If you want an idea, look at the current models and make your best judgement". I guess that's fair. No one that owns a company wants to tell you what they are worth used unless they sell used gear.

So here are the models. I'm iffy on #4 though. Can't really tell if it's a model 5 or 7, as some 7's don't have the stainless bottom.

  1. Model 22-4 5/8
  2. 18-5 ½
  3. 7-5
  4. 5-5
  5. 11-4
  6. 6-9
  7. 10-5
  8. 21
I'm debating on piecing these out, or selling as a lot. Sisters are being pushy bc one has a medical bill due. Sometimes siblings are a PITA.

T tunefink is a member here. He buys Randall collections and is a stand up guy by all accounts.
