question on Recon 1

I recently received a Recon 1 in a trade. My Recon 1 has zytel handles instead of G10. Does anyone know if Cold Steel manufactured Recon 1s with zytel handles in the past? Or is mine a fake?

I believe this is in the wrong sub forum

But as to your question, there's two versions of the Recon 1, the older version has a smoother zytel handle, and the newer version has the rougher G-10 handle. They are both legitimate and the one you have should be the real deal
